PINSPIRATION // PASTEL DESERT

Today's pinspiration is inspired by the beautiful thunderbird necklace by Specked Feather that was featured in the latest mini lookbook.  Im completely in love with the entire outfit below the necklace image, and I think her thunderbird would be the perfect final touch.  This feminine earthy color palette is so calming to me.  I love how colors can evoke such a core feeling inside, so powerful.  You can view the rest of these images and more on my pinterest.

FLYING TOMATO // GET HER LOOK

I'm honored that after releasing this outfit post on my blog, Flying Tomato asked me to be their first GET HER LOOK girl!  So so exciting!  So Roots and Feathers and Gypsies Caravan got to be featured together in this spread.  If you want to see the whole spread large, check out their site. 

I'm pretty in love with Flying Tomato's clothing.  And I'm super excited they will be a part of our first very own 'get the look' series coming this month.  Can't wait to share with you guys!  It will be like a mix between our big fancy lookbooks and an outfit post.  A one look feature.

MYSTIC MOON

After so much anticipation to share this with you loves, I finally present to you, MYSTIC MOON, our 2012 winter collection.  Please play the music along with it if you so desire.  To view full screen, press the play button in the center of the lookbook.  (You must play the music player first though if you want to enjoy that with it).  We would love to hear what you think, so let us know in the comments below when your done!  So much time and love went into this project, and each of the artists you see on the sidebar have done their share to make this baby come to life.  Take a moment to visit our 'Meet The Artists' page to visit everyone's shops and social sites.  You may find some new loves you have not seen before.  Also, we have changed our charity this season to Sevenly.  I love what this company does with their weekly causes, and I think you might too.  The best part is that they support a new charity each week, and all of them are super worthy causes.  Take some time to poke around the blog and see all of the new changes...  In a few days, we will also have a pin page available where you can pin all of the images from our new lookbook, including the ones that were cut!  Enjoy!

ASUYETA WANDERLUST

The moment I came across these images for Asuyeta's 2012/13 winter collection my heart nearly stopped for a bit.  Everything about these photos are perfection.  From the beautiful model, to the clothing and styling, the lighting.  Beyond the beautiful collection of clothing, they have a lovely blog to browse through as well.  A wonderful little gem I'm so glad to stumble upon.  View more from this photoshoot here.  The designer of the clothing at Asuyeta is also the amazing photographer, Erika Astrid.  I have a complete soul struck crush going on right now...
